Ruslan Melnyk was appointed as a member of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine by the decision of the High Council of Justice dated June 1, 2023.
He is a lawyer with twenty-five years of experience in law enforcement. In 2016-2023, he worked at the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, where he headed the Corruption Prevention Unit.
He holds a scientific degree of a Candidate of Juridical Sciences in the speciality 12.00.08 — Criminal Law and Criminology; Criminal Executive Law (2008), and an academic title of Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Justice (2011), also an author of more than forty scientific works in the field of law.
Ruslan Melnyk is the Secretary of the Second Chamber and a member of the Fourth Panel of the Commission, delegated to the Commission on Senior Civil Service in the justice system, which operates under the High Council of Justice.
