On July 04, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine published lists of basic test questions on the history of Ukrainian statehood, general knowledge in the field of law and each court specialisation (administrative, commercial and general) with correct answers.
In accordance with paragraph 8 of Article 105 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges” the National School of Judges of Ukraine provides scientific and methodological support for the activities of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine.
By the decision of the Commission dated January 29, 2025, the National School of Judges of Ukraine was instructed to develop a database of test questions on the history of Ukrainian statehood in the amount of at least 700 and to adapt the database of test questions on general knowledge in the field of law (at least 500) and for each court specialisation: administrative – at least 1,000, commercial – at least 1,000, general – at least 1,500, for the purpose of conducting a qualification examination of candidates for the position of local court judge and judges who intend to be transferred to another local court.
