On July 13, 2026, at the session of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, a panel conducted an interview with Yurii Shofarenko, a candidate for the position of a judge at the Dnipro Court of Appeal, and determined the results of his qualification assessment.
Based on the results of the qualification assessment, Yurii Shofarenko scored 425,70 points. The Commission concluded that the candidate has failed to confirm his ability to administer justice in the general court of appeal.
Please be reminded that 43 candidates submitted applications to participate in the competition for 23 vacant positions of judges at the Dnipro Court of Appeal.
In total, interviews were conducted with 41 candidates: 25 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice, 11 candidates failed to confirm it, and 5 candidates will be interviewed by the plenary session of the Commission. Two candidates withdrew from the competition.
