On June 30, 2025, at the meeting of the First Chamber of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, an interview was held and the results of the qualification evaluation of the candidate for the position of a judge of administrative court of appeal, Oleksandr Karmazin, were determined.
Based on the results of the qualification evaluation, the candidate scored 682,47 points. The First Chamber decided to recognize Oleksandr Karmazin as having failed to confirm his ability to administer justice in the administrative court of appeal based on the criterion of social competence.
Please be reminded, that 67 candidates for the position of a judge of the administrative court of appeal were admitted to the second stage of the qualification evaluation “Dossier Study and Interview” in the competition to the appellate courts. This stage was launched by the Commission, sitting in the First Chamber on May 06, 2025.
A total of 62 candidates were interviewed: 25 candidates have confirmed their ability to administer justice in the administrative court of appeal, 20 candidates have not confirmed their ability to administer justice, and 17 candidates will be interviewed by the plenary of the Commission.
