On February 12, 2024, the plenary session of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, at its meeting, considered the issue of recommendation of Oleksandr Tomashevskyi for appointment to the position of judge of the Kazankivskyi Raion Court of Mykolayiv Oblast.
The suitability for the position of a judge appointed for a term of five years before the entry into force of the Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine (regarding Justice)” must be evaluated in accordance with the procedure established by the law.
The judge passed the qualification evaluation and was recognized by the Commission as suitable for the position. Taking into account the results of the qualification evaluation, the Commission decided to submit a recommendation to the High Council of Justice on the appointment Oleksandr Tomashevskyi to the position of judge of the Kazankivskyi Raion Court of Mykolayiv Oblast.
