Following consideration of the recommendations of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine and the submissions of the High Council of Justice, 5 judges were appointed to the High Anti-Corruption Court and courts of appeal on August 31, 2026 by Decrees of the President of Ukraine Nos. 839/2026–843/2026 (in Ukrainian):
1 candidate was appointed following the results of the competition for the High Anti-Corruption Court, announced by the Commission on June 03, 2025:
- Denys Kovalenko.
4 candidates were appointed following the results of the competition for the courts of appeal, announced by the Commission on September 14, 2023:
- Ella Kataieva to the Fifth Administrative Court of Appeal (recommended for the position of a judge on August 15, 2025);
- Dmytro Kyian to the Odesa Court of Appeal (recommended for the position of a judge on June 08, 2026);
- Oleksandr Maslenykov to the Odesa Court of Appeal (recommended for the position of a judge on June 08, 2026);
- Pavlo Prokhorov to the Odesa Court of Appeal (recommended for the position of a judge on June 08, 2026).
