On July 14, 2026, at the session of a panel of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, the results of the special background check of 58 candidates for the positions of judges of the local administrative courts were established as part of the selection process announced by the Commission on December 11, 2024.
Based on the results of the special background check, the Commission received no information that could indicate non-compliance with the requirements for candidates for the position of a judge in local courts in respect of:

To determine that Serhii Berzin failed to meet the requirements for a candidate for the position of a judge of a local court and to terminate his participation in the selection process.
Please be reminded that, on April 01, 2026, the Commission approved the overall results of the qualification exam in the specialisation of the local administrative court, taken by candidates for the position of a judge of the local court and judges who have expressed an intention to be transferred to other local courts. A total of 263 candidates for the position of a judge of the local administrative court who received a passing score in the qualification exam were admitted to the special background check.
Please be informed that, on July 08, 2026, the Commission established the results of the special background check in respect of 58 candidates for positions of judges in local administrative courts, and on July 10, 2026, in respect of 93 candidates.
